Schedule and Location
Meetings of the Westford Committee are open to the public and are generally held every other Monday evening during the school year, with a 7pm start time.
Meetings are held in Conference Room B at the Millennium School (23 Depot St., Westford).
Public Comment at Meetings
The School Committee welcomes community members to attend meetings and to speak on matters within its purview. To promote equitable opportunities to be heard, speakers will be limited to two minutes in their comments. The overall duration of the public comment period will be predetermined on the meeting agenda but may be extended at the discretion of the Chair.
Remote Access to Meetings
Meetings may be viewed online, courtesy of Westford Cable Access Television (WestfordCAT). Meetings are accessible, both live and on-demand, on the WestfordCAT website and on their YouTube channel. WestfordCAT also broadcasts School Committee meetings—along with other town government meetings—live on local cable television: Channel 9 for Comcast customers and Channel 34 for Verizon customers.
Some meetings may offer an opportunity for remote attendees to make public comment via Zoom or another video-conferencing platform. Please check the agenda to see if remote public comment is available at a particular meeting.
Meeting Agendas
The agenda for each School Committee meeting will be posted to the Town of Westford's Agenda Center at least 48 hours prior to the meeting. Any deviations or changes to meeting time, location, or instructions for remote access would be found on the agenda for a particular meeting. You may also sign up to receive email or text message notifications when new and modified agendas are posted.
