My FIRST choice for 5th Grade Student Council representative is... *

I think I will be a good student council member because I really like the Abbot School and want to help make it the most enjoyable place for both students and teachers. I also want to be able to work with both students and teachers to make Abbot an even better place than it is already. To do that, I would create a snack bin to put the snacks that you do not want in the bin so that they can be shared with the students that are less fortunate or forgot their snacks. Also, I would like to make Abbot more involved in the community and to organize a group that could be involved in the Apple Blossom Parade in the spring because it is a town even that I’ve always enjoyed.

I would like to be a member of student council because I feel like I can really listen to people's problems and help. One of my ideas is to start different types of clubs based on what you think you would like your job to be (for example if you want to be an engineer we could start a snap circuts club, if you want to be a chef we could have a cooking club, etc.). That way you could try out a few different clubs to see what you might want to be. Also, I think one thing that would make Abbot school even better would be to help kids move more thoughout the day. I would love to see more movement breaks and fun activities planned during the day.

The reason I would like to be on the Abbot student council is because I would like to make school learning more fun and interesting for everyone. One idea that I have is to make a bulletin board for the subjects History and Geography. We could make a map showing when and where every president was born. Activities like these will make school more interesting fun, and the kids can also learn at the same time.

I am in fifth grade and I would like to be in student council because I want Abbot School to be well taken care of. If I were in student council, I would want to raise money for fun field trips, and not only that. If more people would help, we would hopefully have more movie nights and fun activities like school wide games that anyone could participate in. Also, I, as an Abbot student, am only one person, but if I have help from others Abbot School would be the place to be. Can you help me make Abbot Elementary School better than ever before?

I want to be a member of the Abbot School Student Council because I love school and I want to make it an even better place. I am also a very good listener which will make me a good Student Council member because I will listen to other people’s ideas. One idea I have is to get flexible seating, such as yoga balls and metal stools, for more classes. One way we can raise the money for flexible seating or other charities is by selling tickets for a handball or other sport tournament for Abbot School students and staff.

Hi, I’m not trying to join Student Council to get free pizza or free chocolate milk, I’m trying to join Student Council so I can help you students like myself. Lets say I got voted into student council, I would try as hard as possible to fix some of the recess problems. Recess is the only time of the day when we can really run wild. Some of the problems are that we can’t play 4 square with the basketballs, well as sad as that is I have a fix, well I actually have several. And with the football problems, like the footballs we bring are too hard, well I have a fix for that too, Vote for me and you won’t regret it!

I would like to be a student council member because I want to help your ideas be known and your voice to be heard. I will also find problems and solve them. I think we should add more seats and tables to the Abbot Café so you can sit with more friends on your birthday and you will have a greater chance to get pulled for the stage seats in the raffle. Hopefully, there will be fewer bullies at Abbot School because they will behave so they can get stage seats.
