National Criminal Background Check

• Select Massachusetts.
• Select Digital Fingerprinting.
• Enter Westford Provider ID: 03260000.

• $55 for staff holding a DESE License (regardless of position).
• $35 for all other staff (unlicensed).

Bring an unexpired photo ID (Driver’s License, Passport, or Military ID) and your registration confirmation to your appointment.

After your appointment, please retain a copy of your receipt for your records.  Results will be sent directly to the district.

Fingerprint Reciprocity Requirements

If you have been fingerprinted for another Massachusetts Public School District within the past seven (7) years, you may not need to be fingerprinted again for Westford.

To qualify, you must meet the following criteria:

• You have worked continuously for a MA public school with no more than a 2-year gap in employment.
• You have not resided outside of Massachusetts since your fingerprints were taken.
• Your original fingerprints were for a Massachusetts Public School District (Recreation Department or out-of-state prints are not valid).

Next Steps: Please contact your previous district and request that a Letter of Suitability (or Suitability of Determination) be emailed directly to the Westford Public Schools Human Resources Department at hrdepartment@westfordk12.us.

Yes. Fingerprinting is a one-time event that checks national records. A CORI check is performed annually (each school year) and only covers Massachusetts.

When registering via IdentoGO, you can select a convenient location near you (common sites include Lowell, Leominster, and Worcester).

Results are strictly confidential and only reviewed by the Superintendent or designated HR personnel.
