1:1 Chromebook Program

We believe in preparing our students for active, positive participation as both local and global citizens by developing and fostering creativity, communication, collaboration, and critical thinking.
To support each student, the district provides a school issued Chromebook to help them on their learning journey.
History
The Chromebook initiative began in the fall of 2016 when ninth grade students from Westford Academy received Chromebooks. In subsequent years, each ninth grade class received Chromebooks to use as personal devices in school and at home until they leave Westford Academy.
This program was extended to both Middle Schools in August of 2021. Each 6th grade student was provided a Chromebook as a personal learning device to use throughout their years at their respective Middle School.
