Bringing Your Own Device

The Chromebook is the device chosen by Westford Public Schools. It will allow the school system to filter sites at school and at home and push out applications that students can use for classwork. While many other devices exist, Westford Public Schools selected the Chromebook for numerous factors including its light weight, long battery life, integration with Google Workspace for Education, security, compatibility with management tools, integrated keyboard, and cost. WPS Chromebooks are needed for all online testing including MCAS, PSAT, SAT and AP exams. Students should use these devices as their classroom tool. No other devices are allowed at school.
