Westford Public Schools' Policies

The WPS School Committee reviews current governing policies for relevancy, amends existing policies as needed, and approves new policies. Administrators create regulations necessary to carry out the policies.

The policies, which can be found at our policy database, are grouped into the following policy areas:

Public Comment
Public comment is encouraged on all policies, especially those under current review. To suggest policy revisions or creation, contact a School Committee member or access our Public Comment page.

Viewing, Searching, Filtering, and Sorting the Policies

The policies are grouped by policy area; to expand or collapse a particular policy area, click the triangle to the left of the policy area heading.

To view a policy, click on the thumbnail image of the policy, under the Current Policy column. This will open the policy in a viewer, where it can be downloaded or printed.

To search the policies, you may click the magnifying glass in the upper-right of the policy subwindow and enter a search term. Alternatively, you may filter the policies displayed by by clicking the “Filter” button and entering a keyword or keywords.
