Friday, October 29th will be Halloween Spirit Day at Blanchard! Get spooky! Be creative! Come to school in costume or wear your orange and black! This has become a scary fun tradition for students and staff at Blanchard because everyone makes school-appropriate choices. Some guidelines are listed below.

Halloween Spirit Day Costume Guidelines:  Students are still required to wear a mask at all times while in the building. No costume masks, please. Hats will be allowed if part of a costume and not covering your face.  No costumes that could be offensive or a risk to safety.  No weapons, sharp objects, chains or anything that could be perceived as a weapon, damage property, or cause injury.

Student Council will meet today after school in Mrs. Rice's room (room 5).

Game Club will meet today in the Guidance Classroom.

The deadline for ski club sign up is Friday, October 29th.  See Mrs. Casey, Mr. Merrigan, or Mrs. Ottesen if you have any questions.

There will be no Blanchard Messenger today.  The meeting is rescheduled for next Wednesday, the 27th.

Art Club will meet today after school in the art room.

Blanchard Field Hockey won their game yesterday against Bedford. Shout out to Anya T. for scoring the goal, to Allison A. for excellent work on defense, and to Sabah C. for being a great goalie.

The Blanchard cross country team continued their season with another great outing at home against Concord. The girls team won by five points with top finishers Emily W., Diya S., Emily D., Amrita H., and Charlotte K. leading the way for the Bulldogs. The boys team also put out a very strong outing with top finishes from Andrew S., Jacob B., Charlie S., Shaan S., and Payton S. Go Bulldogs!

Our girl's field hockey team is playing Stony Brook today on Trustees Field at WA.  Their game should begin between 2:45-3:00.  Girls soccer is traveling to Bedford while the boy team plays Bedford at Stony Brook.  Games are set to start at 3:30.  Good luck Bulldogs!

The Blanchard girls soccer team earned a tough 0-0 draw yesterday against John Glenn Middle School of Bedford.   Paige M. and Addie D. earned several chances on net, while a rock-solid defensive line of Sydney R., Lauren F., Lizzie B., and Jillians A. and Keith helped goalie Olivia C. continue her run of shutouts.
