Do you want to be part of one of the most popular clubs at Blanchard? If so, plan on attending our ski club meeting this week. On Thurs. 10/7 during morning Advisory at 7:40 am any 7th or 8th grade student interested in joining the ski club should report to the auditorium for more information. On Friday, 10/8 6th graders will have their meeting during mid-morning Advisory at 10:35 am, also in the auditorium. It may seem too early to be thinking about snow but it will be here before you know it!
Our girls field hockey team and girls soccer travel to RJ Grey in Acton this afternoon while our boys soccer team hosts RJ Grey at Stony Brook. All games begin at 3:30. Good luck Bulldogs!
Olivia C. made two point-blank saves to earn the shutout against Concord Junior High 4-0. Sophie C. scored two goals while Addie D. chipped in a goal and two assists. Paige M. added a goal and Sydney Rokita had an assist. Blanchard plays at Acton today. Lets go Bulldogs!

Blanchard field hockey won their game against Carlisle Middle School 3 to 0 yesterday afternoon. Excellent goaltending from Kaelyn D. and goals scored by Caitlin M. and Catherine S. Nice work Blanchard Field Hockey!
The ADL leader application deadline has been extended to this Friday, October 8. The ADL leader program trains 7th and 8th grade students in how to have difficult conversations and create a positive, inclusive school community. Meetings are all held during school hours so there is no conflict with other groups or clubs. Please see Mrs Rice, Mrs Gupta, Mrs Brostowin, or Mrs Wolber if you have any questions.
Math Team practice will take place in the Learning Commons on Thursday, October 7th.
Game Club will meet today after school in the Guidance Classroom.
Auditions for the Harmonics Honor Choir will take place on Tuesday, October 19th in room 59 from 2:00 - 3:00. Auditions are open to all 7th and 8th graders. You do not need to be in chorus to try out. All students must prepare the audition piece and be ready to sing your part independently. All audition materials are posted on the Harmonics Honor Choir website which can be accessed through the Blanchard home page under Activities. Please see Mrs. Benschneider with any questions.
The first meeting of the Blanchard Messenger, Blanchard's literary magazine, will be held today at 2 p.m. If you enjoy writing, creating artwork, and collaborating with peers on comic strips, illustrations, and more, please come join Mrs. Lawton and Mrs. Cannata in room 30 after school on Wednesday. If you can't make the first meeting you are still welcome to join at any time. Keep an eye out for our Google Classroom code on our activity website.
