Auditions for the Harmonics Honor Choir will take place on Tuesday, October 19th in room 59 from 2:00 - 3:00. Auditions are open to all 7th and 8th graders. You do not need to be in chorus to try out. All students must prepare the audition piece and be ready to sing your part independently. All audition materials are posted on the Harmonics Honor Choir website which can be accessed through the Blanchard home page under Activities. Please see Mrs. Benschneider with any questions.
Student Council is selling Boo-grams at all lunches now through 10/19! Surprise your friends with a special Halloween delivery. Buy one Boo-gram for 50 cents or three for a dollar. Boo-grams will be delivered on Friday, 10/29.
A reminder to Spanish Club students: Please check Google Classroom to sign up to bring or create something for our Dia de los Muertos project. There is a Sign up Genius attached to the announcement with all the details. Gracias!
Reminder: Chromebbooks need to be fully charged when they come to school. Please ensure that your Chromebook is charged each night.
Any 7th or 8th grade student who is interested in joining ski club please report to the cafeteria after morning announcements.

The Learning Commons will be OPEN today for ALL ADVISORIES. It's a good idea to stock up on books for the long weekend today because we will be closed during long advisories tomorrow.
Yesterday the Blanchard field hockey lost their game against Acton. Acton is a competitive team but we put up a good fight. Special shout outs going to our amazing goalie Kaelyn D. and the excellent performance from our defensive players Ainsley S., Allison A., and Erin M. who showed great perseverance. Additionally, shout out to Lauren M. for the goal she scored and to all our midfielders and forwards who helped assist her to make the goal possible!
The Blanchard Girls Soccer team completed a successful week of soccer with a 4-0 win against Concord and a 1-0 win against Acton. Olivia C. posted her 4th straight shutout of the season, making two goal-line saves against Concord and stopping several attempted break-aways against Acton. Jillian K. and Syd R. lead a great team defensive effort, while Jillian A. and Allyson V. helped to shut down Acton's best player. On offense, Sophie C. scored twice against Concord, while Addie D. had a goal and two assists. Striker Paige M. scored against Concord, then fired in the game winner against Acton off passes from Elizabeth T. and Syd R. The girls will look to keep their streak alive on Thursday at home against Lincoln.
