Daily Announcements are shared with students each morning.  Parent announcements are communicated weekly via the Principal's Weekly Newsletter. Please follow these steps to subscribe:  (1.) Go to the Blanchard Middle School home page. (2.) Choose quick link "Subscribe to e-alerts". (3.) Enter and confirm your email address.  (4.) Our basketball teams head to Stony Brook this afternoon for their games.  Boys tip off at 3:00 with the girls following at 4:15.  Good luck Bulldogs!

Student Council would like to announce that there will be a 60's day next Wednesday 1/19!  Bring school spirit to Blanchard by wearing vintage clothing and bright colors from the past.

We are happy to announce the winner of the 2021-22 Blanchard Yearbook Cover Contest! This year's winner will receive a free copy of the yearbook and will have their artwork featured on the front cover of the yearbook. This year's winner is Bella Miller.  The second place winner will also receive a free copy of the yearbook. Their artwork will also be included on the back page of the yearbook. Second place in the yearbook cover contest goes to Allyson Lu.  Finally, the third place winner will be featured on next year's agenda book. The prize for third place goes to Svishti Choudhury.  Congratulations to all winners and thank you to everyone who participated!

Sixth grader Amrita is running a coat drive.  All donations will be donated to the Salvation Army.  One box will be placed near the front office and the other one will be placed next to the BTA photos.  The coat drive will start on Wednesday, January 5 and end on Wednesday, January 19.  All coats should be in decent shape with no tears or rips.  They do not have to be brand new, but they should be in pretty good condition.
