As part of neurodiversity week, today we are celebrating Autism.  Some famous people with autism include Greta Thurnberg, Dana McAnulty, Anthony Hopkins and Stephen Spielberg.  Autistic individuals possess unique strengths and talents which can be utilized to great effect in a variety of settings. One of the most notable strengths of autistic individuals is an ability to focus intensely on a particular task or topic. Individuals may also possess exceptional memory skills.  Another skill commonly found in autistic individuals is attention to detail. These individuals produce work that is most often accurate and precise.  Autistic individuals often have a unique perspective on the world, which can provide valuable insights and ideas. This perspective can be particularly useful in creative fields, where new and innovative ideas are highly prized.
