Blanchard would like to support the citizens of Ukraine by helping to collect donations for the SunFlower of Peace Foundation.  We were made aware of a fundraiser to help support Ukrainians through a news advertisement on March 1, 2022.  Another Massachusetts community is working with the Sunflower of Peace Foundation by collecting donations of urgently needed non-perishable medical supplies such as neosporin, band aids, bandages, flashlights and batteries to be sent to Ukraine after March 10th. Collection boxes will be placed outside of the auditorium.  Blanchard would also like to assist Ukraine as much as we can and as often as we can so we would like to add to this fundraiser and collect donations as soon as possible until March 9th.  After school on March 9th we will deliver our donations to add to the collection which will then be shipped to Ukraine for distribution. You can donate up until next Wednesday, March 9th.  Thank you for your consideration and generosity.

The Learning Commons will be closed during Advisories today.

The month of March is "Kindness ROCKS" month here at Blanchard! Student Council will be promoting kindness throughout the school this month in various ways, including through posters, a "Take What You Need" board (outside the LC in the 8th grade wing), and a thank you note station.  Student Council members have also painted small kindness rocks with pictures and kind messages that will be hidden in various places throughout the school. The idea behind these rocks is that someone could find one and keep it for themself, give it to someone else who they think might want or need it, or hide it again for another person to find. In this way, we hope to literally spread kindness throughout the school.
