Students who plan to join tomorrow's walk with the Blanchard Outdoor Adventure Club should download a permission slip from the OAC web page, or pick up a copy in the Learning Commons today.  The March meeting of the Blanchard Book club is next Tuesday (March 15).  The featured books are Ivy Aberdeen's Letter to the World and King and the Dragonflies.  Mrs. Brandt has extra copies of both books. Stop by if you would like to borrow one.

7th and 8th grade Latin students who are taking the National Latin Exam should report to the Learning Commons after announcements.

Attention all 8th grade poets! The yearbook is having a poetry contest for 8th grade students. The winner of the poem will be featured on the first page of the yearbook. Share your favorite memories of Blanchard. Your poem can be up to 7 stanzas long with up to 4 lines per stanza. Submit your entry by April 11 to Mrs. Isaacs or Mr. Hill in room 38. Blanchard would like to support the citizens of Ukraine by helping to collect donations for the SunFlower of Peace Foundation.  We were made aware of a fundraiser to help support Ukrainians through a news advertisement on March 1, 2022.  Another Massachusetts community is working with the Sunflower of Peace Foundation by collecting donations of urgently needed non-perishable medical supplies such as neosporin, band aids, bandages, flashlights and batteries to be sent to Ukraine after March 10th. Collection boxes will be placed outside of the auditorium.  Blanchard would also like to assist Ukraine as much as we can and as often as we can so we would like to add to this fundraiser and collect donations as soon as possible until March 9th.  After school on March 9th we will deliver our donations to add to the collection which will then be shipped to Ukraine for distribution. You can donate up until next Wednesday, March 9th.  Thank you for your consideration and generosity.

On March 9th please wear Ukraine's colors of blue and yellow.
