In honor of Earth Day students will be sharing facts about the earth.  Today's fact is: Weather will become more extreme and varied as the planet heats up.  There will be stronger storms, drought and colder winters.

The Blanchard Library is hosting a "MCBA Voting party" for sixth grade students during mid-day advisory on Friday, April 29th.  There will be sugary treats, trivia games and prizes.  To get a 'ticket' to the event, you must fill out the MCBA Log  (the link is on the Learning Commons website) and specify that you have read at least 5 of this year's 25 candidate books.

All members of BTA and Student Council should report to the gym immediately following morning announcements for a yearbook group picture. Again, all members of BTA and student council should report to the gym for yearbook pictures.

The Blanchard Book Club will meet on April 26th (the Tuesday right after vacation).  This month's theme is "Stories Told in Verse".  Our book selections are:  Other Words for Home by Jasmine Warga and Before the Ever After by Jacqueline Woodson.  Stop by the Learning Commons if you still need to borrow one.

Check Lost and Found today.  All items left will be donated.  

Today's Friday Funny is in honor of Red Sox Opening Day at Fenway Park.  Why is Fenway so cool?  There is a fan in every seat.  Thanks for the smile and Go Sox!  Happy Friday before vacation everyone!

Student Council is selling Blanchard Class of 2026 T-shirts to 8th graders! Purchase a T-shirt to wear during our end-of-year celebrations. Pay through the online order form posted in your team Advisory Google Classroom now through April 29. T-Shirts will be delivered to Blanchard and distributed to students in mid-May.
