Blanchard Daily Announcements 5/26/2021

Daily Announcements are shared with students each morning.  Parent announcements are communicated weekly via the Principal's Weekly Newsletter. Please follow these steps to subscribe:  (1.) There will be no baseball practice today (5/26/21).

Blanchard softball played a great game yesterday against Stony with a win of 15-1.  Pitching and catching by pitcher Sanvi L. and catcher Rhianna B.  was great.  Laney M. had her first 3 hits yesterday and Sophia M. also had a great hit.  The whole team played terrific!

WESTFORD ACADEMY ATHLETIC BOOSTERS ONLINE AUCTION FUNDRAISER

The Westford Academy Athletic Boosters Club is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization that raises money to support the athletic programs at WA.  We provide all the trophies, banners, varsity letters and awards as well as much needed equipment to our teams.   We also award scholarships to deserving Westford Academy senior athletes each year.  We will award 37 scholarships to student athletes from the WA class of 2021 and awarded 36 scholarships to student athletes from the WA Class of 2020.  These students represented all of the sports that WA offers.

We have provided equipment for most of the teams at WA: Swimming, Soccer, Gymnastics, Lacrosse, Field Hockey, Volleyball, Skiing, Baseball, Track, Basketball, Rowing, Skiing, Cheerleading, Wrestling and Football, as well as concussion software for the WA trainer and video equipment to be shared by all teams. 
Thanks to the generosity of local businesses and Westford Academy Athletics team members, we will be auctioning 33 items including several gift baskets, sizable gift cards for local restaurants and services, including a $250 Gift card to Tyngsboro Sports Center (Birthday Party!?!) and 2 highly coveted WA Junior Parking passes for the 2021-2022 school year, 4 Red Sox Tickets, two Senior Portrait sessions by Photos by Ann Antes and SimpLee Smile Photography. 

The online auction will be live for bids until Thursday May 27 at 8:00 pm.  On the online auction page there is also place to send in a donation rather than place a bid on an auction item
