Pride Alliance is a student led and student organized club that aims to create a safe, welcoming environment for all students regardless of sexual orientation and gender identity at BMS. Members of the Pride Alliance group will discuss the experiences of students in the group, LGBTQIA+ current events, and ways to handle homophobia, transphobia and bias in school and the world. This is meant to be a safe space for all LGBTQIA+ students to share experiences and support. The first meeting will be today in the Guidance Classroom from 2-3 p.m.
Yearbook Club will start meeting on Wednesday, September 29th after school in room 38. You can play an important role in capturing the school year. Bring a friend and come help design this year's yearbook. See Mrs. Isaacs or Mr. Hill with any questions.
The BIPOC or black indigenous people of color affinity group is a group for students who identify as people of color. The remote meeting is Wednesday, September 29th starting @2:30pm. To join the class, find the code in your Guidance google classroom. Any questions, please reach out to Mrs Talwalkar, Mrs Gupta, and Mrs Wolber. We look forward to seeing you!
The Learning Commons will not be open during Grade 6 mid day advisory. Sixth grade students who want to check out or return books should do so during morning homeroom.
Please join us for the kick off meeting of the German Club after school today in room 15.
There will be after school yoga club this Thursday in Mrs. Humphrey's room. All students are welcome. Please wear comfortable clothes. We have a yoga mat for students to use but you can also bring your own mat.
Blanchard French Club will meet this afternoon in Mrs. Sacco's room (room 12).
A reminder to Spanish Club members: Your first meeting is today after school in Senora Brumbaugh's room. Please dismiss with the walkers and pick ups, not with the buses.
All our teams will be busy today! Our XC team plays host to Concord at Stony Brook. Meet time is 3:45. Our boys and girls soccer and girls field hockey will be facing off against Bedford today. Girls soccer and girls field hockey will travel to Bedford while our boys will play Bedford at Stony Brook. All games begin at 3:30. Good luck Bulldogs!!
