Blanchard School Update 4/3/20

Blanchard Community Update 4/3/20

Dear Blanchard Families,

The second trimester report card will be released via iParent today, Friday, April 3 at approximately 2:00 PM. IEP Progress Notes will be sent home to families via email. If you are unable to access the parent portal, please send an email to iparent@westfordk12.us

By now, you have likely reviewed Westford’s Grades 6-12 Remote Learning Plan. Our teachers have spent the past week working diligently to prepare meaningful educational content for the launch on Monday at 9:00 am. If your child experiences any technological difficulties accessing the remote learning activities, please contact the help desk at ithelpdesk@westfordk12.us. This is new for all of us, and we will keep expectations realistic and remain sensitive to unique family circumstances. Teachers, counselors, administrators are all here for you. Go easy on yourselves, be flexible, and don't hesitate to reach out for help. We got this!

Our counselors, Mrs. Voutselas, Mrs. Searl, Mrs. Leone, and Mr. Merrigan, have made extensive updates to the Blanchard School Counseling website and created a Resource Center - COVID 19 page. It includes information on how to keep children connected to their guidance counselors as well as helpful resources for parents and teens coping with stress and changes to routine as a result of the school closure and COVID-19. Please keep in touch with counselors as students continue to adjust to remote learning over the coming weeks.

Stay safe and heathy.

Sincerely,

Tim and Patti
