Today's Safety Drill

Dear Blanchard Families,

This afternoon, we conducted our first ALiCE drill of the year. Students were informed of the planned drill during morning announcements. To initiate the exercise, an alert with a hypothetical intruder scenario was read over the intercom. Students and staff worked together to determine the best course of action and implement ALiCE procedures. Following the drill, teachers debriefed with classes to discuss their responses. 

Thank you to Blanchard’s crisis response team, Westford Police Department, Detective Geoff Pavao, WA Dean Bob Ware, and Wellness Coordinator Brian Roark for assisting with the drill.
