SB PTO Reminder Request
The PTO is sponsoring a wonderful Beach Themed Block Party event for all of our Gr8 students during the school day on Friday June 18th. A great deal of planning has already gone into making this a special celebration for Stony Brook students. They are now in the last few days of gathering items for the event. Please see their message below and if you are able to help out at all it is greatly appreciated! If your student is in Gr8, my advice would be to ask them first if they would "allow" you to help out in some way...we certainly don't want a fun event at school to become a battle at home...says the administrator who has had both of his children go through a middle school of which he was adminstrating...I understand :-)
Items for 8th Grade Celebration Raffle are needed by this Friday June 11th. Please help us make this fun day for our 8th graders a success!

In addition to providing a DJ and a special giveaway for every 8thgrade student, the Stony Brook PTO would like to have a fun raffle for the 8thgraders. We are requesting items for this raffle including gift cards, items, or monetary donations. Volunteers are also needed to make this event a success. Thank you for your continuing support!
