German Club is meeting today after school.

Penny Wars started yesterday and runs all week!! There are grade level jars posted on each floor. Right now 6th grade is in the lead with negative 621 points, followed closely by 7th grade with negative 671 points. 8th grade in is 3rd place with negative 800 points. See the Stony Brook Google Classroom for location of the jars and the rules. Add pennies to your grade's jar to earn points. Add nickels, dimes, quarters and bills to other grades jars to subtract points.

Friday is Real Kids Wear Pink Day! Wear your pink gear to support Breast Cancer Awareness month. The most spirited in each grade level wins a prize. Pink merch is still for sale today during 2nd advisory. Tomorrow is the last day to buy a raffle ticket to win a ride to school in the pink police cruiser!

Environmental Leadership Club needs you and your ideas! Join us on Wednesday from 2-3 pm in A106!

Picture retakes will take place on Thursday, October 19! If you were absent on portrait day, you can pick up a new order form in the office and hand it to the photographer that day (or order online). If you need a picture retake, simply hand the original picture package to the photographer. No form is needed.

The Newspaper Club has put a wooden suggestion box in the office.  If you have a great idea for the newspaper, please submit it in the box near the panther cards.  All suggestions for the newspaper are appreciated.  Thank you!

Congratulations Stony Brook Cross Country for some impressive running and pushing through in yesterday's cold and rainy conditions at the Carlisle Invitational. A special congratulations goes to 7th grade runner Michael for coming in first place overall at yesterday's meet.

Next Latin Club will be held tomorrow after school in room B210.
