Do you want to help plan fun events for Stony Brook and get involved in service projects to help the community of Westford, all while learning positive leadership skills? Come join the Student Leadership Council this Wednesday from 2:00-3:00 in LGI 8, the big room next to the 8th grade common room.

A reminder to all students interested in Pride Club - We will be meeting after school today in B105. ALL are welcome!

Student Leadership Council has determined that Thursday is our first spirit day of the year!  Wear your Westford or Stony Brook gear and show your Panther Pride.  As a general rule, if you want to use any sort of under-eye face paint, it is important that you do not cover your whole face.

Yearbook Club will meet after school this Thursday in room A307! Show up to the first meeting to get all the info!

Yesterday was Yom Kippur. Yom Kippur is considered the most important holiday in the Jewish faith. Falling in the month of September or October, it marks the culmination of the 10 Days of Awe, a period of introspection that follows Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. People of Jewish faith are encouraged to make amends and ask forgiveness for sins committed during the past year. The holiday is observed with a 25-hour fast and a special religious service. Yom Kippur and Rosh Hashanah are known as Judaism’s “High Holy Days.” We hope that all of the families who celebrated Yom Kippur yesterday had a great holiday!
