Yearbook Club will meet after school tomorrow in room A307!

Math Team, this Thursday is an important day. If you are able to be part of our first Meet, come Thursday 10/12 at 2pm to Mrs. Rowe's room for the placement exercises.  You do NOT have to stay later than 3 pm.  Our first MEET is Thursday 10/19. See you then!

The Writing Club will not be meeting this week. It is postponed.

Remember - Art Club is meeting today after school in the art room. 

The Library Book Club is meeting October 17. Please join us for snacks and a great discussion! There is still time to borrow a copy of Two Degrees by Alan Gratz to be ready to discuss the book. Please see Mrs Smith for a copy.

Picture retakes will take place on Thursday, October 19! If you were absent on portrait day, you can pick up a new order form in the office and hand it to the photographer that day (or order online). If you need a picture retake, simply hand the original picture package to the photographer. No form is needed.

Attention all 8th graders!  It is time to begin designing our 8th grade class tee-shirts.  If you would like to help decide on the shirt, color and design, please come to Mrs. Sweet’s room (A125) on Thursday, October 12th during the second Advisory that day (11:35-12:00pm).  Please see Mrs. Sweet with any questions beforehand!  Hope to see you there!

Check the Stony Brook Google Classroom for information about the upcoming events for Real Kids Wear Pink Month. You will find the days and times to purchase pink merch and raffle tickets, information about the cornhole tournament, and information about Real Kids Wear Pink Day on October 20th. 

The Student Leadership Council meets today after school in LGI 8. 

Attention all 8th graders!! If you would like your baby photo in the Stony Brook yearbook, please get them submitted to the Google Form before next Wednesday!

The Stony Brook Field Hockey team won their game 1-0 against Carlise. The goal was scored by 8th grader, Lily A. 8th grader Elle N. had great ball handling skills throughout the game. Great work girls!!!

The boys’ soccer team took home a solid 4-2 WIN against Weston yesterday. Nice goals by Luke, Devansh, and 2 by Aabir. Come watch the much anticipated game against our hometown rivals.... Blanchard Middle School today at 3:00!

Girls’ soccer won 5-0 in their game versus Weston. Goals scored by Hailey, Jules, Chiara and Katelyn.
