Do you want to help plan fun events for Stony Brook and get involved in service projects to help the community of Westford, all while learning positive leadership skills? Come join the Student Leadership Council today from 2:00-3:00 in LGI 8, the big room next to the 8th grade common room.

Congratulations to the girls’ cross country team on their win yesterday against RJ Grey middle school. Phoenix, Grace, Clara, and Lydia led the runners through the finish line, followed by Enora securing the win by passing 2 Acton-Boxborough runners in the last stretch. Way to go girls! Our top runners for boys were Michael, Matthew and Roy. The next XC meet is on Thursday at home! Come support our XC team!

The IMLEM Math team will begin practices on Thursday, September 28th. Practices will be held in room A221, Mrs. Rowe's room. If you can't attend this first session or even the first round, join us later!  Schedules are posted in green around the school.  See Mrs. Severo, Mrs. Rowe or MATH Mrs. Murphy with any questions.

October is Real Kids Wear Pink month! There will be many different events that will take place at Stony next month. Listen for morning announcements and look for signs around the school. All proceeds raised this month will go to the American Cancer Society. Anyone interested in helping make posters for the events, please see Miss Ryle or Mrs. Rindo.

Student Leadership Council has determined that Thursday will be our first spirit day of the year!  Wear your Westford or Stony Brook gear and show your Panther Pride.  As a general rule, if you want to use any sort of under-eye face paint, it is important that you do not cover your whole face.

Yearbook Club will meet after school TOMORROW in room A307! Show up to the first meeting to get all the info!

Come join the Anti-Racism and Social Justice Book Club! We will meet every other Wednesday, beginning October 4th. We will read books that deal with topics of social justice while learning about different cultures and experiences. We will have discussions about real world connections and how the books we are reading in Book Club relate to what we are seeing in our own society. If you have any questions, see Mrs. Larkin or Mrs. Dulczewski. We hope to see you there!

ADL leaders will meet in LGI 8 on Friday morning during advisory. Drop your things at your locker and come right to the meeting. We will take attendance for you in the meeting.
