Welcome Back! Back to school next week!

Good afternoon,

The most wonderful time of the year for many parents, caregivers, and guardians...BACK TO SCHOOL! By now. most, if not all of you have received the opening of school newsletter.  School begins on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 for the Class of 2026 and all other classes will be welcomed on Wednesday, August 31, 2022.  On Monday I will send out a reminder about the traffic and traffic patterns around Westford Academy.  Each morning is very busy, as well as at the dismissal time.  We all need to work together, have patience and be careful.  We will have traffic support at multiple locations again this year to assist with the morning and the afternoon traffic.  WA is located on a "postage stamp" size lot, tucked into a quiet residential setting, not the best location for 2000 plus people to land every day.  Thank you in advance for you patience and understanding!

Items Forgotten at Home

Should your child contact you during the school day and ask that you drop off his or her homework, project, lunch, sports equipment, musical instrument etc., please know that the main office will not take responsibility for getting these items to your child.  Should you choose to bring these items in for your child, we ask that you please place them on the “drop-off” bookcase which is located in the main office. It will be up to you to communicate to your child that these items are ready to be picked up.
