Practice ACT at Westford Academy

Students and parents - If you are planning to take the practice ACT at Westford Academy on Saturday, February 8, please drop off at the cafeteria door or park in the senior lot. The practice test will be held in the lower cafeteria beginning at 8:00 AM. Thank you.

Attention Parents/Guardians of Class of 2021:

As a reminder, you are invited to our Junior Planning Night on Tuesday, February 11th at 6:30 PM in the Westford Academy PAC. The Guidance Counselors will review the entire process for post-secondary planning, including the college search process. Your student received the same information today during Advisory, and it is not necessary for them to attend the evening presentation for parents.

SAT MATH Prep Course

Roudenbush is offering an SAT Math Prep Class starting next Wednesday night. The course will run for four weeks (no class over February vacation). The SAT exam at WA will be the Saturday after the last class. Spring MCAS Testing

A reminder to parents of WA Sophomores, your student(s) will be using their own One-to-World devices for MCAS testing. Please check with your student to ensure that their device is holding a charge for the full school day, that all keys are functional and that the screen is clear, free of cracks and easy to read. If a device needs repair, please have your student bring it to Mr. Jewell at the Chromebook help desk by the end of this month. Thank you!

Students planning to take the March 14 SAT at WA should register ASAP. The deadline in February 14. Please register through College Board.

Westford Academy Presents Camp Sunshine Night - Worcester Railers vs. Adirondack Thunder

Saturday, March 21st at 7:05 PM

DCU Center located at 50 Foster Street, Worcester, MA

Tickets are $20 with a portion of the price going to Camp Sunshine. Join the students of Westford Academy at the Worcester Railers on March 21st as we support Camp Sunshine! Camp Sunshine is a camp in Casco, Maine for children (and their families) who are facing serious Illness. Tickets are $20 and include a Railers hat! All seats are located in Section 111-112 based on availability. Make sure to purchase your tickets through the link! Offer expires 48 hours prior to puck drop. LAST NIGHT 2020

WA Last Night 2020 is the all-night, substance-free celebration for our Westford Academy graduating seniors, which will be held on Friday, June 5th starting at 10:00 PM. With almost 100% participation, Last Night is a highlight for WA graduates. It takes over 300 volunteers and many, many generous donors to make this evening a success. Parents of all students from K to 12, are encouraged to volunteer. For more information, please see the Last Night website at www.walastnight.org

Girls on the Run – Athletics/Pride Program at Blanchard

The PTO for the Westford Middle Schools is trying to start a girls' athletics / pride program at the Blanchard this spring. It's called Girls on the Run and Stony Brook already runs it.

They are interested in having a few high school girls help out. They would act as junior coaches. The program is 10 weeks, twice a week, but they would not be obligated to come to all sessions if they cannot. It begins March 22 and runs until the 5k event June 6/7.

This would be a great way for WA girls to earn volunteer credits!
