Graduation Information

Friday August, 7th 10:00 AM 

Trustees Field at Westford Academy

Rain Dates: In the event of poor weather in the morning, we will look to have the graduation ceremony later in the day if possible.  Every effort will be made to hold graduation on August 7th @ 10:00 AM. (Other Rain dates include Saturday August 8th and Sunday August 9th.  Times TBD.)

ATTENDANCE: Registration closes today at 4:00 PM!   All graduates and attendees must pre register to attend.  Please use this link: You only need to register once per family.   https://forms.gle/rWZdgVGEbQ795P5bA

Please consider limiting attendance at the graduation ceremony.  Immediate family is welcome, however, we are asking families to limit attendance as much as possible.  Parents/Guardians and siblings are welcome. NO extended family members.  

COVID 19: Only graduates and immediate family members (siblings and parents/guardians) may attend.  Any graduate, their family, school personnel and others should not attend the ceremony if they are feeling sick, are exhibiting any of the following symptoms (fever, cough, shortness of breath, chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, or new loss of taste or smell), or have potentially been exposed to someone with confirmed or suspected COVID-19,  A potential exposure means having household contact or having close contact (within 6 feet) with an individual with confirmed or suspected COVID-19 for a prolonged period of time (over 15 minutes) while the person is symptomatic or 48 hours before symptoms developed.Persons who are particularly vulnerable to COVID-19 according to the Centers for Disease Control (e.g., due to age or underlying conditions) are discouraged from attending the graduation ceremony.)

WESTFORD CAT LIVE BROADCAST: The graduation ceremony will be broadcast live on Westford CAT. (Comcast Ch 99, Verizon Channel Ch 33, or live streamed on WestfordCAT.org)

FAMILY INFORMATION:  ALL ATTENDEES MUST WEAR A MASK FOR THE DURATION OF THE CEREMONY. Seating will be open and will be first come first serve.  Bleachers will be open for seating as well.  Please bring a chair(s) or blanket to sit on if you elect to sit on ground/track.  Guests may sit on the track, D Areas of track, bleachers, open turf areas or any area not roped off for graduates.  Please practice social distancing at all times during the event.  There will be no pictures on the field after the event. Please make every effort to to have a prearranged meeting location at your car, outside the venue or at an off campus location.  

Please enter/exit the field through the large gate by the main parking lot, ticket booth or far gate by the back fields.

GRADUATE INFORMATION (There is no graduation practice for this event.) 

Graduates must wear a mask for the entire time they are at the ceremony.  

Graduates: Please plan to arrive at 8:30 AM. Please try to be dropped off or carpool with your family. Once arriving, find your spot in the lineup. The lineup will be spaced and marked with signs by the first letter of  your last name. There will be two lines.  The lines will start with letter A and M of your last name.  The lines will start on the sidewalk corner of the roadway by the softball field and wind back along the sidewalk grass towards the faculty parking lot.  We will proceed into the stadium in two lines directly to your labeled seats.  There will be some empty seats for graduates that could not attend.  Please sit in your labeled seat only.  During the ceremony, please follow the instructions of Administration and class marshalls. Principal Antonelli will help direct graduates and families from the podium.  At the conclusion of the ceremony graduates will exit the field and meet parents at their cars.
