For parents/guardians- FYI about potential walkout.

The following was sent to the Sunrise Movement Group. I wanted all of you to be aware.- Respectfully, Jim Antonelli

Dear Member of the Sunrise Movement:

I have shared your request with Mr. Olsen, the Supt. of Schools. I/We cannot support this walkout on Friday at 1:10 PM. I would recommend that you use the town common or other venue to get your word out about the Sunrise Movement. If students are dismissed appropriately at 1:10 PM on Friday and assemble on the Town Common or other venue I cannot preclude students from making that decision. If students walkout on Friday and miss a test/quiz/or other assignment they may receive a zero for the assessment/assignment unless they are properly dismissed. If students choose to walkout without being properly dismissed they will be marked absent unexcused from a class. See the WA Student Handbook for the outcome to an unexcused absence from a class. I do support your cause, however I/We cannot support the walkout.
