Good afternoon,
The school year 2019-2020 is underway! This was a great opening week with a lot of energy for the upcoming school year. I want to thank Dean Betsy Murphy and members of the Student Council for creating such a fun and exciting welcome for the Class of 2023 on Tuesday and for the rest of the school on Wednesday. The welcome signs, music, and bubbles certainly created a fun environment for all who walked into W.A. I look forward to a great school year!
A reminder to the Class of 2020 about the BBQ this evening behind the high school. It should be a fun night with some great food! (Hubba's) Have fun at and make some memories this kick-off event.

Westford Academy’s DECA Business Club
Westford Academy’s DECA Business Club is holding its annual “Student/Parent Informational Nights” on Tuesday (9/24), and it will be repeated on Wednesday (9/25) in WA’s PAC. Both meetings begin at 7pm. We are holding the same meeting (with identical content) on consecutive nights to better accommodate everyone’s busy schedule. The meeting should run about 30-40 minutes. It is mandatory for all interested members, and parents are strongly urged to attend. DECA Advisors will be available to answer all parent and student questions. For the parents’ convenience, DECA Officers will be collecting any cash or checks for WA’s Activity Fee ($100 - check made out to “WPS Clubs”) and the DECA Fee ($100, which includes membership and the first field trip held in January - check made out to “WA DECA”). Co-Curricular Club Activities:
Most Clubs will begin the week of September 10th; same week our late buses begin. Your student will receive information about the meetings and the annual Club Fee ($100/student one-time fee for one or more clubs for the 2019-2020 school year) at that time. Or, if you know your child will be participating for sure this year, you can also pre-pay the fee through "My School Bucks" located on the WA webpage - click on STUDENTS.
Earn Community Service Hours at Friends of East Boston Camps Fall Festival!
Where: At East Boston Camps in Westford
When: Sunday October 6, 11:00AM to 5:00PM
Volunteer Work: Face painting, Beading, Donut Stringing, Lanyards, Tattoos, Potato Sack races, Pumpkin Painting, Hula Hoops, Blongo Ball, Ring Toss, Corn Toss, Other activities.
