Dear Parent(s)/Caregiver(s),

We were informed of some tragic news earlier today, that we wanted to share with you. 

Zachary Lavoignet, Class of 2023, was found deceased this morning at his home in Westford. The cause of death at this time is unknown. 

We are sharing this information with students and community members this evening as word began to spread today. 

Losses such as this often affect students in a variety of ways.  Counselors, teachers and other support personnel have been, and will continue to be, available to students on an ongoing basis.  We will have additional counseling staff available tomorrow and Thursday here at Westford Academy.  Students can come directly to the counseling department to seek out an available school adjustment counselor, school psychologist and/or school counselor.
