Westford Academy Theater Arts' production of Dancing at Lughnasa was named Winner of the MHSDG State Finals this weekend earning WATA its first State Championship in department history.

Twenty-four WATA students were named to the All Star Cast in five categories at Finals. Included were awards in: Set Design (Michelle Fenn, Andrew Greaves, Mackenzie Klein, Steven Mavroides, Kimberly Sollows, Andy Bristol, Barry Dunn and Brian McManimon), Property Design (Megan McCarthy, Courtney Greer, James Marin, Kendra Dean, Maggie Maguire, and Alex Norton), and Excellence in Acting to Devon Thibodeau, Michelle Alto and, Matthew Mettler.
