Important Information Regarding Military Recruiters

Federal law requires that the District release the names, addresses and telephone listings of students to military recruiters and institutions of higher education upon request for recruitment and scholarship purposes.   However, in all instances listed above, parents may request that such directory information not be released without prior consent by notifying the school in writing by August 26.

2019-20 recruitment post for WA Compost Assistants:

WA's Composting Program is hiring for the 2019-20 school year! Want to join our team of environmentalists who are diverting Westford school's food scraps from the trash and turning it into rich compost to make our soils healthy and gardens thrive? Did you know that for every 35 pounds of food diverted it's equal to a gallon of gas not being burned, or 20 pounds of CO2 not going into the atmosphere? We're making a difference at Westford Academy! Our Compost Assistants get paid a stipend and share access to two free green parking spaces at Westford Academy. Work hours are generally after school for one hour, 2-3 days per week. Some team work events may require 2-3 hours after school. You should be in good physical condition, like being outdoors and getting exercise while helping to save the planet.  Apply at this link: https://goo.gl/forms/fWkwJn0JO8OJ6Zky2

Deadline for applications is June 30, 2019
