Class of 2023 Update:

Important Last Night Information - Seniors and Senior Parents/Guardians

We wanted to bring the following information regarding Last Night to your attention during this busy time. Last Night is the all night celebration for seniors at Westford Academy beginning at 10PM on Friday June 2nd and ending at 5am Saturday June 3rd.

Seniors need to pre-register for the event ASAP if they haven't already done so. Go to https://walastnight.org/for-seniors

Doors open at 10PM and doors close at 11PM. THERE IS NO ADMITTANCE AFTER 11PM. Parents if your dinner plans are running late, please excuse your senior with plenty of time to safely get to WA by 11PM.

No food or drinks are allowed to be brought in. Food and drinks are provided free of charge.

No bags, backpacks or cinch sacks. Small purses or cross body bags the size of wristlets are allowed and are subject to search.

Seniors are responsible for their own property, so only bring what you need. There is no place to store items.

There are fun activities planned all night long. Do not bring sleeping bags, blankets or stuffies.

This is an all-night event designed to keep seniors safe. Safety is our first priority. Seniors are expected to attend for the entire time. If you must leave for any reason, a parent and guardian must come to pick you up, regardless of your age. SENIORS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO LEAVE AND DRIVE THEMSELVES UNTIL 5AM SATURDAY JUNE 5TH.

Seniors please wear gear that represents what you are doing after graduation - from your place of work, the branch of the military you are joining or the college you are attending.

Have fun celebrating as a class one last time!

Last Night will be held on Friday June 2nd at 10PM even if graduation is postponed due to weather.

Congratulations on your upcoming graduation! We look forward to a fun night!

Westford Academy Composting recruiting students for 2023-24

Are you a student interested in environmental health and sustainability? We use school food scraps as a resource to make vital compost for our community. Every day after school (20-30 minutes) our team members take turns composting. Once-a-month they work as a team to turn and manage compost piles in our compost bins, located near the running track. Freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors are encouraged to apply to join WA’s Compost Team. Seniors must be available to work during Capstone, on through to the end of regular school. Our Compost Team members share exclusive, free access to two green parking spaces at Westford Academy.

If interested please apply before June 22, 2023, at this link:
