Report Cards, Benchmarks & Curriculum Brochures

5 Inch Mark on a Ruler

The WPS Curriculum Benchmarks are curriculum outcomes for each grade & discipline based on the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks.  The Benchmarks have been grouped by grade. The new standards-based report cards for K-5 Elementary Schools are also linked below. We continue to build on the honorable work of our teachers and staff! The Director of Equity, Curriculum & Instruction along with our K-12 Curriculum Coordinators will continue to develop our professional learning community in the important work of  updating, revising, and consolidated our grade level year long benchmarks for all disciplines into one common format. These documents are in PDF format  and can be opened using the free Adobe Reader software.
The primary purpose of assessment is to provide information that will improve student learning. Teachers analyze student progress for the purpose of scaffolding and refining the teaching/learning cycle to better meet student needs and to give students and parents feedback on student progress. Assessment is also used to enable educators to make informed decisions concerning curriculum and the instructional program.

PowerSchool Standards Based Grading: What to Know

Parents and Caregivers may access learner report cards using a browser on their phones or computer. The report card is not viewable on the Power School Application on your smart phone because Power School does not share student specific indicators (SSI) with the app vendor to protect student privacy rights. Once signed in select 'student reports' on the left menu and the report card will be available.

If Parents and Caregivers need to print the report card, there are specific settings that need to be set in your individual browser. When selecting to print, select more settings and un-check headers and footers, and check background graphics. Lastly, make sure the scale is set to the default or at the 100% scale.
