Scheduling 2024-2025 NEW to District

 

Enrollment for WPS begins at our WPS District Office.

 

Once Enrollment is complete, your student file is sent to WA, and we have received final grades from the sending school, your family will be contacted to schedule placement testing, usually early June.

 

Math placement is required and based on the last completed Algebra-based math course. 

Testing is timed 60 minutes. (Documented Accommodations for extra time will be allowed.) 

 

World Language placement is only required for level 2 or higher in a language we offer.

World Language takes approximately 90 minutes to complete. (Documented Accommodations for extra time will be allowed.) 

 

If your student’s current school year ends and enrollment and placement testing can be completed prior to June 15, 2024, then your student is eligible to meet with their assigned counselor in June to register for classes and create a schedule for the fall.  In the event we cannot get final grades prior to the end of the school year, your student can still take placements in the spring or mid- August and then will have a schedule created when the counselors return August 20 or 21, 2024.

 

As counselor availability is limited to these 2 days that week, scheduling is at a premium.
