FY25 Budget Public Hearing 1-2-2024

Hopefully, you have been able to follow the recent budget discussions that have been taking place during our School Committee meetings on December 4th and 18th.  The next meeting scheduled for January 2, 2024 will include the official public hearing which will be structured in such a way to provide additional opportunity for public input on the proposed budgets before the School Committee votes on January 16, 2024.  The public hearing is a regular part of the budget process and is an opportunity for the public to ask FY25 budget related questions during which the Committee and WPS Administration will respond to questions.  For planning purposes or if you are unable to attend, please send questions in advance to SCHOOL-COMMITTEE@WESTFORDMA.GOV

Both of those meetings are on Tuesdays due to the Monday holidays during those weeks.  In addition to those public meetings, we wanted to make sure that everyone has access to the series of short videos created by members of the Town of Westford Budget Task Force that highlight some of the sections of the Final Report that was presented in the fall.  The more information everyone has about the budget process in general and the challenges that we are facing for the next few fiscal years the better.
