In kind update...WPS! 2-1-23

As February is our shortest month, this update shall be in kind.

The team from SMMA is making quick progress with our feasibility study. They presented a brief overview of how they assess the buildings and gave the School Committee an example of some of the information that will be included in their final report.  The current collection of data from the building tours is nearly 500 pages long. In early March, they are going to be facilitating a hybrid discussion allowing both in person and remote access for participation and will be open to our entire community.  The focus of this first discussion will be to gather feedback from various stakeholders as to the student and family experiences and perspectives regarding our current grade configurations and transitions between schools.  Once that date and time is finalized we will communicate it widely throughout our community so as many people can participate as possible.
