Who We Are: A Chronicle of Racism in America

The Town of Westford Diversity Equity and Inclusion Committee along with Westford Public Schools Diversity Equity and Inclusion Committee are excited to partner with Community TeamWork (CTI) to screen Jeffrey Robinson’s documentary: Who We Are ~ A Chronicle of Racism in America

WHAT IS THE WHO WE ARE PROJECT? The Who We Are Project was founded by Jeffery Robinson. The organization is an outgrowth of a talk that Robinson has been giving for the past 10 years on the history of anti-Black racism and white supremacy in the United States. This talk forms the basis of the feature-length documentary film, Who We Are: A Chronicle of Racism in America.

OUR MISSION - The Who We Are Project will be one of the central voices that will correct the narrative on our shared history of anti-Black racism in the United States. The current narrative about the impact of anti-Black racism and white supremacy on the social, legal, political, and economic aspects of our culture in the United States is based on a “re-telling” of history that is incomplete, inaccurate, and misleading. The Who We Are Project will correct this false narrative about U.S. history and provide an objectively true account that exposes the role of white supremacy and anti-Black racism throughout history up to the present. This mission is crucial because reckoning with our true history is the only way for our country to move forward on a path toward racial equity and justice.
